After the successful launch, the second Charging & Battery Summit & Expo will take place at Zappeion, Athens, on November 28 & 29, 2025.
At the event will be presented the technologies, products and solutions, in two sectors that will have enormous growth in the coming years: charging technologies & infrastructures for electric vehicles, as well as batteries and energy storage.
Leveraging incentives to finance, build, install, certify and manage EV Charging Stations.
Advancing the goal of a clean transport system.
Using EV charging stations as a value-added and profitable asset for real estate.
Energy storage systems versus large grid connection systems.
Strategic planning for the swift to an electric fleet.
Building skills and making connections to improve the outcome and maximize ROI.
The transition to zero-emission vehicles may is one of the biggest challenges that facing businesses and governments in the near future.
In the next decade, the electric vehicles will be much more popular and more numerous. At the same time, an extensive network of chargers must be developed, in all sectors of electric mobility, in order to be able to continue its upward trajectory unhindered.
Electromobility in Greece has started with timid steps, but it is expected to have great growth in the upcoming years.
The development is significant, if we consider that in 2019 there were less than 100 charging points throughout Greece, while for 2024 estimated that their number was about 5,500. As for vehicles, the percentage of electric and hybrid vehicle registrations in our country, from 0.4% in 2019, now reaches double-digit percentages.
Εnergy storage is one of the key obstacles to the green, carbon-free transition. Renewable sources are not producing the amount of energy that we need, when we need it. The sun cannot shine, nor the wind blow, on demand.
In this regard, efficient technologies and products for storing this energy need to be developed, so that it can be used to the maximum.
There are many fields of application for energy storage technologies, including the provision of support services to the electricity grid, or to individual consumers "behind the meter".
Energy storage technology can be exploited in the form of stand-alone systems or in the form of energy production, as part of hybrid systems or microgrids.
